1920s original English Silver Plate Toast Rack with a Handle for 4 slices, divided by an arched style frame supporting a central handle with a space for spoon and central area for glass jam / marmalade dish. The rack is elegant and substantial. A silver plated spoon is included.
Very good quality, unsigned. The dimensions are: about 22 cm long, 16 cm tall including the handle and the spoon, and about 13 cm wide. The diameter of the glass dish is about 10.5 cm
Nice condition with some age appropriate scratches, the ends of the metal ring under the glass dish are not soldered together - probably should be like this as they stick together well and make a solid structure with no issues - I am just mentioning this for accuracy. No nicks or bites on the glass. The glass has light yellow-green fluorescence in UV torch light dating it to about 1920-1930s.
