Authentic Vintagehard-paste porcelain figure from the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ), Leningrad. Designed by sculptor Galina Stolbova; the model was first introduced in the mid-1950s and remained in production through the late Soviet period.

Mark:

Base bears the red overglaze factory mark: stylized “LFZ” monogram above “MADE IN USSR.” Red ink denotes first-grade quality. This mark variant dates this piece to the final years of Soviet production.

The figure depicts a standing Uzbek woman in traditional dress, holding a woven oval basket for harvesting cotton. She wears a traditional ikat striped atlas-pattern robe with purple, orange, and cream striping, a gilt-trimmed collar, and an embroidered cap with turquoise scrollwork and gold detailing. Hair is rendered in multiple braids. The basket surface is textured to simulate woven reed. All decoration is hand-painted over the glaze.

Condition

Vintage condition consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or repairs visible. Gilding on headdress, collar, and tray rim remains largely intact with minor surface wear typical of handled pieces. Colour saturation is strong. Please review photos for specific detail.
