Straight out of Agatha Christie novel, this classy Art Deco gothic style handled toast rack for 4 slices was made for the famous Tearoom Pavilion from 1920s the Branksome Dene Room, truly one of English the south coast’s hidden gems.
It measures 8 cm or 3 1/4 inches long, approximately 11.5 cm or 4 1/2 inches high, the weight is about 150 g. It is marked with MAPPIN & WEBB Princes Plate. The underside has a mark of a famous art deco tea rooms Branksome Dene.
