Signed and Dated, this lovely vintage hand painted wooden Norway plate van be used to serve bread of pies with your beer, or displayed as rustic folk art on the wall, if you add a little hook.
It is about 19.5 cm wide and about 6 cm high. It was a gift from Norway to a biology and genetics scientist Bruce Cattanach, presented in the 1970s.
The colours are teel and orange-reddish, they are slightly "dusted" - not as bright as they look on my screen, a bit more 70s.
