Cased Ruby over opaque Lattimo white with applied clear to amber rigaree fins and lobed foot, in the manner of Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007). These are genuine Murano MCM vases - both show orange fluorescence along the golden-tone rigaree fins in UV light, consistent with cadmium-based glasses of the period. Lateral pontil mark to base.
Dimensions: 11 inches x 3 inches x 3 inches each. Weight 700 grams and 680 grams.
Technically not a pair but a matched set of two. Price for the pair.
Attribution: no single workshop can be assigned with certainty. The swordfish-soliflore model was produced in several Murano furnaces in the 1950s–70s but most likely made by Alfredo Barbini.
