Stunning French Antique Glass Brass Ormolu Footed Watch or Jewellery Display Vitrine with Repoussé Hunting Scene in Napoleon III Style

Amazing larger size antique French Napoleon III ormolu watch or jewellery box. It features repoussé hunting scene all around on its front, sides and back. The hinged bevelled glass lid is set in filigree brass metal. The bottom is grey toleware. The casket stands on ornate bent brass feet.

The condition is great antique with patina and signs of its antique age, the inside is covered with probably later velvet fabric in olive colour. No knocks or tears in metal, and the state of the glass lid is surprisingly perfect for its age.

The size is about 8 cm by 8 cm or 3 by 3 inches at the tallest part incl feet. This is a fabulous display case for that special watch or a fantastic vitrine for the precious jewellery.
