Unmarked Set of four matched (2+2) almost identical antique champagne flutes.
Featuring tall fluted conical bowls with long elliptical sliced vertical cuts, and triple-knopped stems in Georgian style. Each glass individually hand-formed; one shows typical foot asymmetry and minor balance variation, confirming hand made and cut production. Made of brilliant resounding crystal, with semi polished semi rough pontil scarring underfoot. Two heavier ones have a slightly thicker foot and a vague step along the outer edge of the foot bottom.
Excellent craftsmanship with charming imperfections characteristic of fine, hand-blown glass English and French glass of the period. These four glasses are most likely English.
