Rare Antique Jugendstil Cruet Set of Cut Molded Bottles with Faceted Uranium White Opaline Glass Stoppers and Lid Late Art Nouveau Bohemia

Rare Antique Jugendstil Cruet Set of Two Similar Molded Oil and Vinegar Bottles with Tall Faceted Uranium White Opaline Glass Stoppers and a Mustard Pot with Cut Faceted Uranium White Opaline Glass Lid with space to add a little spoon.  The set is placed on a little tray with Art Nouveau decorative edge and a lateral square impressed makers mark with a chalice.

Dimensions:

Glass: Height, including the tall stopper, is about 13 cm. Total weight of glass bottles 400 grams

Tray: 13.5 by 12.5 cm

Mark: “Tchécoslovaquie” to the underside of the bottles.

Cut pressed glass with a molded pattern to the bottles, cut uranium opaline glass to the stoppers and lid.

Cut and polished, geometric Art Deco was typical for Karl Palda Haida (Nový Bor) as well as use of uranium in both transparent and opal glass.  Molded & cut Art Deco glassware, especially from Northern Bohemia.

French export labelling: Tchécoslovaquie, dated to 1920s.  Indicates the item was exported to France from Bohemia area of pre-war Czechoslovakia.

Condition: 

Age appropriate wear to the silver tone tray. Uranium glow is strong and even. No chips or clouding to glass.
