Antique Art Nouveau Frosted Glass Jar in Novelty Reed Stems and Leaves Silver Plated Setting with ornate cover and Reed and lilly pads Finial.

This a beautiful example of Edwardian Period Biscuit Barrel or Tea Jar с 1900-1910.

Unmarked, dimensions are: about 6 inches, including the finial on top of the cover. About 5 inches base diameter.

Good antique condition with a couple of losses on the reed stems shown in the photos, some light age related yellowing on the silver tone on top of the lid, some patina, no hairline cracks or chips to the glass. The tone of the glass is between off white and beige. Good condition of the silver plating on the metal frame with age appropriate patina.
