Chic and elegant, a masterpiece of the 20th century design, this set of two Coffee pots or a Coffee Pot and a Hot Milk Pot, have square geometric shapes and Chocolate Bakelite handles and lid finials. Mark by reputable English silver makers Pointon in Chester Plate in the style of Sir Christopher Dresser.
Each pot is about 7 inches high or about 18 cm and it is approx 8 inches or 20.5 cm at the widest including the nose and the handle. Not lightweight - each weighs about 430 grams.
The condition is good vintage - some scratches on the side shown in the photos, small knock on one side of one of the pots, minor bend on edge of the foot which does not affect the balance, loss of plating on the edging. Inside both pots are left uncleaned, outside there is limited attractive patina left on ths edges. Base metal is brass, both pots also have additional narrow copper decorative edging over the top body.
Proper showpiece for your after dinner service or for your morning or afternoon coffee alone or with a friend.
