Possibly Liège (Wallonia, Belgium), late 18th century (c.1770–1800).
Genuine hand made Zoomorphic candlestick in the form of a duck, with natural verdigris and cuprite oxidation — authentic provincial domestic bronze of pre-industrial manufacture. About 12 cm by 10 cm by 5 cm. Weight is about 460 g.
Please note that the red hue inside the top candle holder in the photos is from the remains of the red candle and is not the colour of the metal itself.
Condition is great antique with no structural issues, all stable.
