Madame Gres - Authentic Vintage French Couture Gold Plated Signed Logo Earrings by the Iconic French designer

Spectacular Statement Earrings made by the fashion house Madame Gres to promote their perfume line.

 These gold plated earrings feature a square / diamond shape design with the 'GRES' logo letters stamped on the front.

The earrings are also signed on the reverse side - each earring is stamped 'GRES PARIS PARFUMS Metal Concept.'  Secured with clip back mechanism.

 Dimensions: 1" 5/8 or 4cm. Immaculate condition.

Background: Grès was a French iconic haute couture fashion house, which now exists under the name Parfums Gres Paris. Germaine Krebs, known as "Madame Grès", based her Haute Couture House name on the anagram of her husband's first name, who was a Russian painter Serge Czerefkov. Her haute couture items were worn by the most fashionable women, including the Duchess of Windsor, Marlene Dietrich and Greta Garbo.
