A charming diminutive English late 19th century delicate oak and brass stand or rack, designed for tabletop storage of small post cards.
It measures approximately 4 1/2 by 4 by 3 inches, or 12.5x6x13 cm - it is lightweight and easy to reposition. It stands slightly declined backwards and has two divided departments and front brass decor panel. The bottom is probably stained pine or similar, the sides and front are antique oak.
Good antique condition with some scratches and normal signs of age.
Perfect for the desk, mantelpiece or to style that book shelf, it evokes Georgian style elegance in miniature.
