Large Vintage Silver Plate Serving Galleried Edwardian Tray

Large Edwardian or later silver plated oval gallery tray with pierced decoration, gadrooned wavy edge and twin inset handles.

This antique silver plated serving tray was made in approximately 1920-1930s in Art Deco style. The tray is composed of silver plate over copper and has a high pierced gallery with inset handles on either end. The tray stands on four post feet.

Dimensions:
Height: approx 2 1/2 in or 6.5 cm. Width: approx 19 in or 48.5 cm. Depth: approx 12 1/2 in or 33 cm

The tray is not lightweight it is at least 1400 grams.

Marked to the underside "Silver on Copper".

In very good condition with age appropriate scratches but no plate loss, no knocks, no dents.

Great as a display tray or for serving at dinner party. The tea set shown in the last photo is not included and is sold separately.
