Thomas Webb rose ball vase with the rim of hexagonal section over globular optical body, gilded by Jules Barbe with summer flowers and scrollwork in thick paste style circa 1890s. Created in the style of St Louis art glass.
UV fluorescent clear soda glass (not uranium).
Dimensions: Approximately height 12 cm, diameter at the widest 12 cm, top diameter 7 cm. Round polished pontil.
Good antique condition with some loss of gilding, micro 1 or 1.5 mm flat dip on the underside on the border with pontil, no chips or cracks.
