Mark used beginning in 1902 for export to Britain. Hand Painted with beautiful roses and decorated with intricate gold beaded jewels.
The set includes 2 teacups and saucers, one creamer, one lidded double handled sugar bowl, and one lidded teapot. Each piece is beautifully hand painted with clusters of roses with sky blue accents and beautifully highlighted by textured gilt dots. The handles are decorated in filigree gilt. All pieces are in very good antique condition. One cup lost "feathered" gilding on the edge. Some loss of Gilding throughout typical for its 120 year old age. Old mark Maruki spider with no country name, therefore the set dates to early 1900s.
