Blue Opaline Frosted Glass Biscuit Bowl in Silver Plated Pierced Basket with Handle Art Nouveau style England 1890

This a beautiful example of Late Victorian Biscuit Basket with Celeste Blue Opaline Glass Insert Bowl. The body is made of pierced silver plated metal in Art Nouveau decorative style.

Marked to the underside of the foot for Atkin Brothers, dimensions are: about 4 1/2 inches, without the handle. About 4 1/2 inches top diameter.

Good antique condition with some losses on the plating, some light age-related yellowing on the silver tone of the pedestal foot, some patina. The Opaline Glass bowl inside has no chips or cracks. It has some bubbles and irregularities typical to hand made glass.
