Amazing 1950-1960 Murano Opalescent Art Glass small bowl, originally created as an ashtray but great for use as a nut dish or display. It shows most beautiful subtle shades of added colours - pink, orange, yellow, blue or even lilac depending on how you position it and how the light highlights it.
The bowl is enhanced by an array of several internal controlled bubbles of various size.
The longest side of this irregular shaped dish is about 10 cm, the height is about 4 cm. Great condition with flat polished pontil with age related micro scratches on the bottom.
Mesmerising piece of art glass in very manageable size. Attribution Archimede Seguso (unsigned, foil sticker long lost).
