Elegant antique liqueur glass, dating to 1897, Continental in origin.
The glass features a funnel bowl with slice-and-notch decoration at the base, rising from a striking green and white spiral twist stem or air filigree. The flat foot is hand-finished with a snapped pontil, typical of free-blown glass.

Art Nouveau Josephinenhütte stem glass - notched faceted stem with air filigree. Such stems feature in Lit: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50. Count Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte, Schreiberhau, designed by Arthur Gerlach.

Provenance: An identical cordial glass was sold at Lay’s Auctioneers in 2021 (Lot 1001, from the collection of Michael Trethewey).
A refined collector’s piece and a fine example of late 19th to early 20th-century European glassmaking.
