Originally these pieces were called Jade Glass and made by Curt Schlevogt Glassworks.
They were created as part of Ingrid Collection and designed by Hoffman, Pleva, and other amazing Art Deco artists. They are described by Petr Novy and the Museum of Glass in his book on Jablonec glass - "Ingrid, More than just a brand".

Background:
Curt Schlevogt established his glassworks company in Gablonz or Jablonec. At the 1934 spring fair in Leipzig, the company Schlevogt Glassworks presented its famous collection of molded glass under the trademark “Ingrid”. They are particularly famous for fashionable glass materials jade, jade turquoise (malachite glass) and lapis lazuli glass.
The Ingrid line consists of over 100 items and is one of the most popular glass ware lines produced in Czechoslovakia. And remained in production until World War II. Then sporadically post war.
After the WWII Czech state government created the enterprise called GLASSEXPORT. They used original 1920’s Schlevogt molds to reproduce fine glassware for the Western export markets. This chrysanthemum box is one of such 1960s pieces.
Great condition, tone and quality of moulded glass. Not lightweight.
