Rare Limoges "Oak Leaf & Acorn" Harlequin Demitasse Set of three cup and saucer duos, marked to the underside for Elté Léon Texeraud – Acid-Etched Gold, c. 1929 (Unique).
This is a stunning 3-piece Harlequin demitasse set (Yellow, Sky Blue, Hunter Green) featuring the rare "Oak Leaf and Acorn" gold garland pattern. Produced by the prestigious Léon Texeraud (Elté) studio in Limoges during the Art Deco era.
The pattern features a wide, heavy gold band with a deeply pressed/etched garland of oak leaves and acorns—a highly sought-after Art Deco motif symbolizing longevity.
The cups are classic "Litron" cylinder shape.
Marks: Fully stamped "Porcelaines Elté" and "Limoges Unique" (dating specifically to c. 1929).
Dimensions:
Cup: about 5 cm diameter, 5 cm height.
Saucer: about 10 cm diameter.
Condition: Excellent. The glaze glaze is flawless, and the gold shows virtually no handling wear.
