Absolutely beautiful chunky High Victorian hinged bracelet with huge semi-circular metal studs and smooth interior. The circumference is about 7 inches so will suit a standard to delicate sized wrist, the tongue and groove box clasp is original.
The condition is very good with only superficial surface scratches and surprisingly bright gold casing. Beautiful antique piece, most probably English, circa 1860 to 1870.
The width is 1.5 cm. Not too heavy but substantial and solidly built. No marks. The metal is gold casing over copper in my opinion. Very well preserved gilding in bright yellow gold colour.
