Antique Jugendstil WMF stamp box in Distressed Oxidized finish desk accessory with 4 slots for small objects.

A silver plated WMF four compartment box, showing the pine cone 229 pattern, with hinged lid at top opening to four sloped compartments; fine and scarce.

Marks WMFB for Brittania Metal, OX for oxidised. Dates between 1910 and 1925.

Dimensions: length 13cm, depth 6cm, height 3cm.

Condition: Overall wear from years of polishing, darker spots on front panel and lid, scratches and dots. The lid sits flush on the body, the inside of the box is clean. The finish is oxidised Brittania metal, will benefit from polishing.
