Fine quality antique or vintage English silver plated engraved decorated caviar server with revolving dome cover. Can also be used to serve jam, butter or any other food delicatessen. Estimated to be of Edwardian era, created in Art Nouveau style.
Features: Embossed edge on the entire outer perimeter; chiselled decor on the dome cover; shell-shaped handle; hand-engraved floral Cessation style decoration, lion feet.
Condition: pre-owned excellent. Sold with a glass insert dish your convenience, the glass insert has a little flat dip on the edge, not a crack and no hard edges.
Marked at the base "Best silver plated Made in England". This item is not a lightweight aluminium later replica but a real thing.
Dimensions: 12.5 cm in diameter and 11 cm high or about 5 inches diameter and just under 5 inches tall.
