Fine quality antique or vintage English silver plated engraved decorated caviar server with revolving dome cover. Can also be used to serve jam, butter or any other food delicatessen. Estimated to be of Edwardian era, created in Art Nouveau style.
Features: Embossed edge on the entire outer perimeter; chiselled decor on the dome cover; shell-shaped handle; hand-engraved floral Cessation style decoration.
Condition: pre-owned excellent, with very light surface wear and limited untouched patina on the reverse side. Sold with a glass insert dish your convenience.
Marked at the base "Best silver plated Made in England". This item is not a lightweight aluminium later replica but a real thing.
Dimensions: 12.5 cm in diameter and 11 cm high.
