Antique Jugendstil Goblet – Fritz Heckert Olive Green Stem Wine Glass with Raised White and Gold Enamelled Folliage and Lilly of the Valley Decor, c.1895
A fine late 19th Century Tall Silesian Glass attributed to Fritz Heckert, Petersdorf c.1895.
Blown in two parts (Kuppa and Fuß), this goblet is made of warm olive green, olivfarbenes Glas, with a tall, architectural Stem. The bowl is decorated in delicate enamel pastes in white with gold highlights, showing vine leaves and Maiglöckchen (lily of the valley). These naturalistic motifs are typical of the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period and much sought-after today.
