Genuine antique / vintage item, not a modern reproduction.
This is a complete antique set on ball feet, featuring a silver-plated stand with a handle by A.E. Furniss & Sons Sheffield and four distinct cut-glass bottles. Because these pieces were gathered from different sources over time, the set has a unique, eclectic character with varying glass patterns.
The Stand: Created by A.E. Furniss & Sons, Sheffield as per markings: AEF & S and EP
The bottles are all clear glass with different traditional hand-cut patterns:
Mustard Pot: Diamond/Cross-cut pattern; includes a metal flip-top lid and spoon.
Tall Decanter: Flute/Panel-cut body with a faceted geometric stopper.
Round Bottle: Diamond and banded cut pattern with a ball stopper.
Square Bottle: Prism/Vertical-cut design with a faceted stopper.
Dimensions: 9.5" H x 6.5" W x 6.5" D.
Weight: 1122 grams.
Condition Report:
Glass: This is a matched assembly of period-correct bottles. There are slight variations in the crystal shade between pieces. The glass remains bright and crisp, with some small nibbles (small chips) bites and scratches, typical of antique cut glass on the stopper edges and bottle rims.
Silver: The stand and lids show little age-appropriate wear; no significant plate loss or structural damage.
All in all, this is a magnificent dining room decor item or a useful display of beautiful condiment vessels.
