An exceptional and rare Count Harrach (Bohemian/Czech) art glass vase from the late Victorian Aesthetic Movement.
This 24 cm tall piece features a creamy satin opaline body with a distinctive, tooled four-pointed geometric mouth (quatrefoil) and a hand-applied clear glass rigaree (threaded collar) at the neck.
The body is decorated with high-relief raised gold and white enamel in the Japonisme style, depicting stylized lilies and sweeping botanical grasses. The vase is elevated on a clear glass pedestal foot finished with hand-painted gold concentric rings and a polished base.
UV Light test: The satin body glows a sharp icy blue (indicative of high lead content), while the clear base shows a faint yellow-green fluorescence confirming the 1890 production time.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor, age-consistent shelf wear to the gilded rings on the base.
