Genuine antique / vintage item, not a modern reproduction.
An exceptional continental European antique pocket snuff box dating from the late Victorian to Art Deco era (circa 1890–1920s).
This highly collectible vanity piece features vibrant translucent fuchsia pink enamel over a mechanically engraved engine-turned base, housed in a well-preserved copper-gilt frame.
Condition Report:
Flawless enamel condition. The vitreous glass enamel is completely free of hairline cracks, surface chips, deep scratches, or flea bites. The translucent surface retains its original high-gloss luster. Minor micro-scratching from historic handling. The three-barrel hinge is straight, tight, and operates smoothly. The lid closes flush, securely aligning with the base rim to snap shut.
Dimensions: 5.0 cm Length × 3.5 cm Width × 1.5 cm Height.
Enamel Pattern: Concentric scalloped/fish-scale guilloché motif. Unmarked (typical of high-quality continental items from French workshops of the period).
