An exceptional antique French Victorian enamel frame, crafted in a rich ultramarine blue enamel on copper and attributed to the esteemed Maison Alphonse Giroux, known for their refined 19th-century objects d’art and distinctive prong-mounted construction.
 
This elegant piece features a copper enamel front panel affixed to the backing with small metal prongs—a signature technique used by Giroux. The back is finished in a steel-toned inner plate with a bronzed outer backing and features a wall mounting ring. There's also a space for attaching an easel-type desktop support (not included), offering flexible display options.
