Antique English Oak Silver or Silver Plate Banded Barrel with Porcelain Interior

Cute Antique English Miniature Barrel. The original historical purpose was to collect the drips from drinks barrels and casks kept behind English bars

The oak is held together by silver bands. These are not marked so they can be silver or silver plated. The miniature nails holding the bands are brass. The barrel has little handles. The condition is good antique with cracks in the outer wood.

The interior is lined with porcelain. Great for use or display.
