An exceptional antique or early 20th-century "Mell" (mallet-shaped) ship's decanter crafted in iconic Bristol Blue cobalt glass.
This hand-blown piece features a distinctive broad, stable base tapering into a slender neck, perfectly balanced for display or functional bar use. Crucially, this piece retains its original hand-ground ball stopper. Both the stopper peg and the internal neck rim feature the lightly engraved matching workshop number "27". This temporary factory marriage mark confirms that the stopper is completely original and custom-fitted to this specific bottle, ensuring a precise, historical pairing.
Condition Report: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or structural repairs.
