A hand-carved wooden table mirror dating to 1912, retaining its original easel stand and carved with letters and symbols across the crest and on sides in raised Gothic-style lettering. A distinctive example of early 20th-century British decorative woodcarving with strong Arts & Crafts character.

The reverse retains its original shaped wooden easel support and removable backboard secured with period slotted screws, further supporting hand-made workshop or skilled amateur construction.

The inscriptions suggest the mirror was probably made as a gift or commemorative piece.

The frame is carved in relief with textured punched grounds, a technique associated with hand woodcarving rather than machine production. The medieval-inspired lettering and restrained design are characteristic of the wider English Arts & Crafts and Home Arts & Industries tradition.
