Antique Early Victorian or late Georgian Horn Beaker cup with what appears to be a sterling silver rim and a monogrammed shield plate. I could not find any hallmarks, but the white metal is likely to be sterling silver, and the beaker is most probably made in Scotland in about 1830s.
The horn bottom of the cup has a straight line across and has a small gap around the diameter so any liquid will probably leak. The silver rim has a tear/small losse on the inside, wrapping, side - all shown in the photos. The bottom is riveted with microscopic metal studs on both sides.
The beaker measures just over 4 1/2 inches tall and opening is just 3 inches in diameter.
